Services
Sunday 10am
This is our busiest service of the week and is popular with families because their children are always taken into consideration. The service is led by members of our preaching team, and guest speakers from other churches are frequently invited to preach. The worship music is mostly contemporary, but also includes traditional hymns. Children usually leave the service for their classes after the first 15 minutes, but once a month (usually the 4th Sunday) we have All Age Worship.
Sunday 6.30pm
The Evening service is very informal with plenty of time to worship God and hear his Word. A number of young people attend and take part week by week. A varied team of people preach and there is always room to let God's Spirit minister to us. You are also welcome to saty for coffee and cakes afterwards.
Sunday 11.30am
This Holy Communion service usually takes place on the 4th Sunday in the month and follows Common Worship (the new Anglican Liturgy).
Wednesday 11am
A midweek service that is open to all, but which our older members find particularly suitable to their needs. It offers worship, teaching and friendship for those at home during the week. The service follows Common Worship, and alternates between Morning Prayer and Holy Communion.
Letter from the Vicar
Welcome to Holy Trinity!
This website is here to inform you about the life of the church. We hope it will give you plenty of information about what we can offer you and how you can get involved. We want you to feel part of our church family.
Holy Trinity is a modern Anglican parish church. Our teaching is Bible-based and our services aim to help you meet with God as we worship, pray and hear his Word. The teachings of Jesus Christ are relevant today and we believe He wants to equip his Church to do his ministry on earth. We have an active and growing congregation that includes all ages and we aim to serve the community as we share the love of God with them.
I came to Richmond with my family in 1998. I was born in Lisburn, N Ireland and have been based in England for 18 years. Formerly a secondary school teacher, I was ordained in 1993 and was a curate in Ashtead, Surrey before becoming Vicar of Holy Trinity.
My wife Kate grew up in Twickenham and studied theology with me at Trinity College, Bristol and for a further year at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. Kate is a licensed lay minister and takes an active role in the life of the church being employed part-time. We have three boys – Johnny, Connor and Ben.
We would love to get to know you better, so please fill in the Newcomers' Form on the weekly Church Bulletin when you first visit us, and why not join us on our next Alpha Course. Whether you have been a Christian for many years, or are just getting to know Jesus, you are welcome to join us.
With best wishes,
Trevor Patterson, Vicar

Our Values
Holy Trinity is a church with an open door, reaching out with God's love and helping people live for Jesus.
We believe in:
Love
We love because He first loved us.
Word and Spirit
The Bible is the foundational source of God's revelation. God transforms our lives by His Word, through the power of His Spirit.
The Cross & Resurrection
Christ died on the Cross for us, so that we might be reconciled to Him, the penalty for our sin be paid, and so that we can live His life of forgiveness and unselfish love. Jesus confirmed his work on the cross by his physical resurrection from the dead.
Outreach
God loves those who don't know Jesus and has a special concern for those in need. Our primary aim is to live and share the good news of Jesus Christ. Only faith in Christ brings saving knowledge of God.
God's Family
We are the family of God: the Father calls us to care for each other. Right relationships matter; we will teach about them and support them.
Worship
Our purpose is to worship and please God. We offer God all that we are, all that we do and all that we have.
God's Gifts
God, through his Holy Spirit, equips all His people to serve Him and others.
Prayer
God answers prayer and speaks today.
