Karis Kids - families for orphans

Karis Kids links family to family and church to church. They aim to link up individual churches in the UK with, at present, churches in Uganda to partner together in caring for orphaned children. Within those linked churches, they link up family group to family.

It provides a simple framework that allows Holy Trinity to establish a relationship with a Ugandan church that is seeking to care for needy orphaned children in its parish. Holy Trinity is linked to St Peter's Wandegeye, beside the Katanga slum in Kampala. Karis Kids is a practical ministry to the poor. It enables orphaned Ugandan children to grow up within an adoptive family and reach their full potential.

You can ...

  • Help sponsor a family - we are already supporting over a dozen families in the Katanga slum. £50 a month helps Ugandan families to provide education, food and healthcare for adopted and other children. Please contact Becky Edwards, Nima Paribag or email Tricia Lockerby

  • Get involved with other projects which we will be planning with St Peters Church

  • Pray
